Introduction

Originally called the Valley Improvement Project Committee, the Springs Task Force Coordinating Committee (STFCC - sometimes referred to as "Stiff Kick") is a group of organizations in The Springs area of Sonoma Valley, dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community through collaboration. The task force facilitates an ongoing partnership between county government representatives, elected officials, businesses, community organizations, schools, and private citizens interested in enhancing The Springs area.

Focusing on economic development as well as safety and infrastructure improvements, the task force has helped to implement projects such as burying of utility lines, replacement of water mains, pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements, affordable housing development, commercial property development, and roadside beautification.
