Sonoma has been called "the Mecca of Cycling" and there is a notable history of cycling in the valley. Sonoma Valley Cyclists is an affiliation of cyclists of all types who call Sonoma Valley home. The purpose of their organization is to support and to promote cycling in and around the valley.
