Fashion in the Vineyards - Benefit for Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley boys & Girls Club

The Eighth Annual Fashion in the Vineyards fashion show benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley hits the runway on Saturday evening, the 18th of September. Charity will be in vogue as the chic and chichi gather for the glamour and goodwill that define Fashion in the Vineyards. Elegant models (both professional – and local) will strut their stuff on the catwalk under the tent at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. Men will love this event as much as the women!

Helen Lyall - Clothes for Women is producing the New York style runway show, providing the latest elegant fashions for fall. Special guest designer Nary Manivong will be there, hot off the runways from New York Fashion Week, presenting his fall runway collection. The latest men’s fashions will be provided by Patrick James of Mill Valley and tuxedos from Eraldi’s Menswear of Sonoma. The extremely popular Boys & Girls Club youth show is sponsored by and features clothes from Sonoma Old School. The models will be coifed and made up thanks to the team at Catalina’s Skin & Body.

Guests at the event will enjoy a reception beginning at 5 PM where they will be able to shop at the bazaar, view cool cars, and bid on outfits donated by shops: Bear Moon Clothing Company, Fleurtique, Half Pint, Julie Schindler Design, The Loop, Sisters, Sonoma Old School, Sonoma Steps, South American Secrets, and more. Indulge in Fairmont’s delicious hors d’oeuvre and enjoy local wines. The show starts at 7 PM. Linger after the show to purchase any of the clothes from the nights Fashion Show.

New this year, the event will also feature a shopping bazaar, from 10 am-4 pm and is open to the public and free of charge. We’ve shopped the gift shows from New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco to bring you hand crafted gifts, finery and jewelry ready for your Holiday shopping! Come early for the best selection!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley is the only multi- location youth facility offering afterschool education and development programs to over 1400 Sonoma Valley youth annually. Since 1962, the Boys & Girls Club has provided the critical means for parents who live and work in and around Sonoma Valley to ensure their children engage in meaningful and constructive activities during the critical after school hours of 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. and all day during the summer months and school holidays. The Club serves over 400 kids per day at its three locations, Maxwell Park, Sassarini and Flowery Elementary Schools.
